The image quality from the ZEISS sensor is really insane giving a level of detail much higher than I expected... zoom into any of these and you can read small labels, text, and writing even at 400% enlargement.

Aperture: f/4
Exposure time: 1/60s
ISO: 640
The color is beautiful and detail separation in the highlights and the shadows is superb. I shoot slightly underexposed with lower contrast and saturation. This keeps my highlights under control. Then in processing, I open up the shadows, bring the color up, adjust contrast, and lastly set black point level.

Aperture: f/4
Exposure time: 1/60s
ISO: 320
And I love the lens – it responds just like any fast ZEISS 35 mm lens. By the way, the ZX1 autofocus is great too.

Aperture: f/4
Exposure time: 1/60s
ISO: 800
It is a high-end, easy-to-use camera that makes my photography simple without sacrificing technical performance. The details and color rendition is also in the JPEG format so good with this camera.
Hans Strand
Aperture: f/8
Exposure time: 1/125s
ISO: 200
The form factor is very convenient, and the simplicity and functionality are the best I have experienced for photo taking with the small fixed lens camera on my travels. This image has been cropped and adjusted accordingly my color harmony without any major editing.
Csaba Desvari
Aperture: f/2
Exposure time: 1/1250s
ISO: 100
Taking advantage of the fact that the optical design of the Distagon lens included on the ZX1 is well known for its very little to no deformation at all.
Ilan Derech
Aperture: f/4
Exposure time: 1.5s
ISO: 80
Shots like these of the countless Torii arches of the Fushimi-Inari shrine require very specific settings since the exposure and depth of field vary a lot. Fortunately, the wide screen on the ZX1 let me set up everything in a second along with previewing the fine details by focus peaking the shot before taking it.
Ilan Derech
Aperture: f/22
Exposure time: 1/250s
ISO: 2500
The picture was taken with a long exposure time and shows that there is very low noise in the darker areas, while the great details are maintained in the highlights (even up to the branches of the lightning).
Andreas Bogenschütz
Aperture: f/6.3
Exposure time: 47s
